Repair kit for permanent repair of stone chips in windshields. Repairs most types of stone chips up to 2.5 cm in diameter.
Stone chip damage to a windshield occurs in the outer layer of glass. The stone that hits the window causes a crushing damage that is surrounded by small air pockets. This patented repair kit removes the air pockets and fills the damage with a specially formulated glass compound that, after hardening, makes the damage almost invisible. It also strengthens the window and reduces the risk of cracking.
