How it works

Rats are lured into the trap by bait. Once inside the trap, the prey comes into contact with electrically charged plates that deliver an electric shock that effectively kills the prey in seconds. To ensure the killing of large prey, the trap delivers powerful shocks of up to 7,000 volts, repeatedly for five minutes.

The trap uses a 3-plate construction that provides better safety for the user while ensuring that the prey is in the correct position when electric shocks are delivered.

You can use the trap with a battery or plug it directly into a 230V wall outlet (built-in battery adapter and power cord included).

Important product information: The product is intended for professional use, private individuals using the trap should carefully read the instructions before use. The product should not be used where children or pets can come into contact with it and is intended for indoor use only. Batteries are not included.

NOTE: The product is not suitable for small mice (e.g. house mice) as they can often be too small to trigger the trap.

How do you do it?

  1. Read the instructions carefully before use.
  2. The trap requires 4 C batteries, which are not included in the package.
  3. Bait the trap with, for example, cat food, fish, peanut butter, bacon or other food-based bait that rats/mice are attracted to.
  4. Please use some kind of tool when setting the trap to avoid your smell getting on the trap or bait, which could otherwise cause the prey to avoid the trap.
  5. Place the trap indoors, preferably along a wall as this is where rats most often move.
  6. Start/stop the product with the on/off button
  7. The trap indicates capture with a green light, then turn it off, empty the trap and turn it on again.
  8. The trap can be cleaned with water and detergent but read the instructions carefully before doing so. Also make sure the trap is 100% dry before putting it back into use.
