HDMI Splitter 1x4 (4 outputs) with support for 3D - HDCP v1.4

HDMI devices (any source/player, LCD, plasma etc) will have different results when you put HDMI repeater devices in depending on the equipment you are using (a repeater device is a switch/splitter/extender etc). Make sure to get confirmation from the manufacturer of your source/player/LCD that the specific player or LCD can communicate via an HDMI repeater. Some source devices may not allow any HDMI device between itself and the LCD and will only work via a direct HDMI cable to the LCD. The opposite is also possible where the LCD requires a direct connection to the source/player and will not accept a regenerated signal from an HDMI repeater device. The display or source manufacturer can confirm whether their product supports the necessary features.

This splitter is with four HDMI outputs. It distributes the single HDMI input into four identical outputs. These four outputs are synchronized.

When two or more splitters are cascaded, they can be used to create a larger HDMI/HDTV distribution. Series connection of these splitters provides long distance transmission of HDMI signals of more than 15 meters with HDMI 26/24 AWG specification cable.

HDMI cables and equipment SHOULD NEVER be connected/disconnected while your equipment is powered on since the HDMI port has a low voltage! May cause damage to the equipment if connected to powered on equipment. The sequence below should be followed when installing new cables or equipment between source/player and LCD/Plasma.

Connection order:

1.) Power-off all equipment (At the wall outlet).

2.) Connect all cables, splitters, switches, extenders within the HDMI Distribution Network.

3.) Turn on the power to all Splitters, Switches, Extenders within the HDMI Distribution Network.

4.) Power on all LCD/Plasma and set to HDMI input from HDMI Distribution Network.

5.) Turn on Sources/Players (Sources negotiate the HDCP Handshake via the HDMI network displays that are set to HDMI input to respond to the handshake).
