Quick guide

Clay is used to remove stubborn dirt, rust particles and tar. Take two lumps of clay the size of a coin and place them in a bucket of warm water. The clay softens from the heat and the water makes it easier to use. Shape and flatten the clay in your hand. While using one lump of clay, leave the other in the warm water. The clay will harden when it cools. To soften it, put it back in the water. Run the clay over the surface to be treated. Use plenty of lubricant or soapy water.

A clean, soft clay will glide much better on the surface. When the clay is dirty, fold the dirt into the clay so you have a clean surface to work with. When the clay starts to harden, switch to the soft, heated clay in the hot water bucket. Rinse the car off after treatment.

NOTE: If you drop the clay on the ground/floor, immediately throw it away and use a new one instead.
